Lews Miller Room

The Lewis Miller Room Museum is located behind the fire hall in what used to be the Men's Club. Open during the summer, with bi-weekly historical exhibits showing hundreds of artifacts showcasing the rich heritage of Millertown. Here you can relive the community s history as an A.N.D. company town which supplied raw material for the newsprint mill in Grand Falls, and see the enormous billiard table donated to the town by Lord Northcliffe. During your visit take a look at our original artwork, created by Craig Goudie of Grand Falls-Windsor, depicting the story of the Beothuks that lived along the shores of Red Indian Lake.

Our museum is open from June 27th to Sept. 02, 7 days a week from 9am-5pm, and after August 14, Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm. Our Museum co-ordinator and two summer students are available to provide you with information on the history of our town and it's many treasured artifacts. So be sure to drop by for a visit.
